X sat with spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant to re-unite with his estranged son and further tackle his inner demons. The scenes between X and Vanzant played out like a typical intervention, with the rapper losing his cool more than once during the 90-minute episode. Their now epic run-in was built around the 42-year-old reconnecting with his oldest child, Xavier Simmons.Having been out of contact with one another for more than a year, the 20-year-old aspiring musician cautiously approached his father. X was visibly moved by being in his son's presence, but barked on Vanzant for interjecting during their reunion. Things got so heated at one point that the Ruff Ryder cursed at Vanzant and refused to come back on camera. He finally made his way back into the room and delivered a chilling statement to his first born. "I guess you'll see me at my funeral."Despite her efforts, the rapper doesn't believe that Vanzant was helpful. "DMX agreed to be a guest on Iyanla: Fix My Life with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his 10 children,” his rep said in a statement. “When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not ‘fix’ DMX’s life ... and does not have DMX’s personal written consent to use the footage."Vanzant on the other hand sent nothing but positive energy in X's direction, and started the Twitter hashtag #SupportDMX.Get ready for the BET Experience, featuring Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, R.
